Disc Golf comes to Reno



  1. Where is The Ranch?

    The Ranch ~ Disc Golf Course at Rancho San Rafael Park is located within the Reno Sports Complex; 2975 N Virginia St, Reno, Nevada.

    It's on the northwest corner of the Virginia St. & McCarran Blvd. intersection.

  2. Is there a fee to play?

    No. As with many Disc Golf courses, The Ranch is free to the public.

  3. Are there facilities at The Ranch?

    Not currently. The RDGA is working to bring back a port a potty.

  4. My group would like to arrange a tournament. How do we proceed?

    The Ranch is a publicly accessible facility managed by Washoe County.

    To reserve the park for a private function, you can contact the Parks & Open Space Department at: Washoe County Parks & Open Space

  5. Are there other courses in the Reno area?

    Yes and no. Reno adventure Park is also in Reno, but requires permission and meeting with Tom, the land owner and builder.  While the RAP is in Reno, it is secluded and takes about 35 minutes to get to from down town Reno- and visitors will need a 4WD vehicle to get there during many times of the year.

    The Ranch is Reno's first ever permanent and public. Disc Golf Course.

  6. Where can I purchase Discs in Reno?


    Several local retailers have Disc Golf supplies in stock and some offer discounts to RDGA members! See the  LINKS  page for a current list.
